Is it a Sin to wear Jewelry?

 From the New World translation of the holy scriptures where i will be using in this article;

47 After that I asked her, ‘Whose daughter are you?’ to which she replied, ‘The daughter of Be·thuʹel the son of Naʹhor, whom Milʹcah bore to him.’ So I put the ring on her nose and the bracelets on her hands.+48 And I bowed down and prostrated myself before Jehovah and praised Jehovah the God of my master Abraham,+ who had led me on the right path to take the daughter of the brother of my master for his son.

In the passage mentioned, it is mentioned that Joseph accepts jewelry as a gift from Pharaoh. However, if God had forbidden the use of jewelry, it could be inferred that Joseph, being a faithful follower of God, would have declined the gift.

On the other hand, in the passage from Isaiah, righteousness and salvation are described as a bride and bridegroom who adorn themselves with jewelry.

This analogy does not appear to align with the idea that the use of jewelry is a sinful activity, as it is being used to symbolize the purity and goodness associated with God’s salvation and righteousness.

Isaiah 61:10

• 10 I will greatly exult in Jehovah. My whole being will rejoice in my God. For he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; He has wrapped me with the robe of righteousness, Just like a bridegroom who wears a turban like that of a priest, And like a bride who adorns herself with her ornaments.

24 Stop judging by the outward appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.

From this bible verse, when we wear a modest jewelry, it is not a sin.

Can you wear jewelry to church?
